About Me

Thanks for visiting my website that I've been working so hard on! Let me tell you a little about myself.

I’ve loved video games and drawing for as long as I can remember. I was still in diapers when I started playing Tomb Raider with my dad. Throughout school, I always looked forward to math and art. In high school, I drew pictures for friends and co-ran the Physics Club. As the first in my family to attend a four-year university, I didn’t know what to expect, but I was excited for what lay ahead.

I began studying Mechanical Engineering (ME) at Cal Poly, but quickly realized I was craving a more creative outlet. My first official design project was creating the logo for the Cal Poly Honors Program—still in use today. I went on to design branding and merchandise for the university’s CubeSat club and 2018 CubeSat Developers Workshop, which solidified my passion for combining engineering with creative expression.

That passion led me to join the Computing for Interactive Arts (CIA) minor, where I co-developed ANX Dread, a VR horror capstone experience. Our work was published in the ACM Digital Library’s FDG conference—my first taste of building interactive systems with emotional impact.

After graduating in ME with honors and a CIA minor, I taught myself Unreal Engine by building my own game projects. That effort paid off when I landed my first industry role at Survios, where I work today as a Gameplay Programmer focused on animation systems and immersive player interaction across VR and flatscreen titles.

I’ve contributed to shipped games including The Walking Dead Onslaught, Puzzle Bobble 3D: Vacation Odyssey, and Alien: Rogue Incursion, taking ownership of systems like procedural hand posing, cross-platform multiplayer replication, and animation pipelines. My work has shipped across Meta Quest, PlayStation, and PC.

Outside of work, I give back by mentoring students and returning annually as a guest speaker for Cal Poly’s CIA capstone students. I'm passionate about helping creatives navigate uncertain paths, because I know how powerful a bit of guidance can be.

With a foundation in engineering and a future in games, I’m committed to building meaningful experiences and supporting those who dare to do the same.
